Introduction
STRIDE’s Library plays an important role in providing facilities to support and assist users in their studies, research and education.
STRIDE’s Library which is located in Block A, holds up to 80 people at one time. It started its operation when STRIDE was established and serves as an important information centre to all the STRIDE’s researchers and staff. The resources are freely accessible, in addition to loan services that are available for various types of references. Discussion room, multimedia corner, computer with internet service equipped with OPAC System (on-line public access cataloguing) are also available for the convenience of the researchers.
Almost 6,000 volumes of collections in various fields are available, mainly in Science and Technology, Economy, Law, Mechanical and Religion. STRIDE’s Library also subscribes magazines, journals and local newspapers. STRIDE’s library is also registered as a member of Inter Library Loan System (SPP) in collaboration with Malaysia National Library, which is the national level coordinator that also provides access to pnmdigital journal.

Library Services
A. Circulation Services
Loan
All registered users are allowed to make loans on books and other materials provided in the library.
Loan Method/Amount of Loans
Borrowers must present their ID Card at the counter for loan process. The amount of loan is as below:

B. Information and Reference Services
These services are basically to assist users in searching and using library materials as well as to get the right information needed.
C. Current Awareness Service
The Library provides announcement of new books through the Library’s OPAC service.
D. Internet Service
Internet service is provided at Level 1 of the Library building. One (1) terminal is available for information retrieval.
E. Publication Supply System
Publication Supply System (SPP) is an inter-library service that allows users to get reference material from other library when it cannot be obtained from STRIDE’s Library.
F. Group Loan
STRIDE’s Library is registered with PNM and can make loans up to 400 titles at any time. This helps STRIDE members to get the latest reading materials.
G. Magazine/Annual Report
Latest magazines and annual reports are available for the reference of all STRIDE members.
H. PNM Digital
STRIDE’s Library is registered with PNM for local and international journal access purposes.

Library Facilities
A. Open Reading Area
An open reading area is available at Level 1 of the Library building and can hold up to 80 people at one time.
B. Multimedia Corner
One (1) multimedia corner is provided for the use of all STRIDE members such as viewing of corporate videos, documentaries and others.
C. Leisure Area/Sofa
One (1) leisure area with sofa is available for leisure reading and for the use of all STRIDE members.
D. Computer/Desktop
One (1) internet computer is provided at Level 1 of the Library building for online information searching (OPAC).
